Brian,Proof that your instruction has paid off for me in a big way.    We were using 12 gauge #4 shot with a speed rating of 1330 feet per second.  I count 16 frames between the time of the first shot and the first visible reaction of the bird (disturbance of his flight pattern).  Knowing that the video is capturing this at 100 frames per second, when I “do the math” on a spreadsheet I calculate that this bird ... Novice Clinics - OSP Field Houston Texas!

I teach novice clinics once a month, usually the 2nd weekend, at our home field in Houston, Texas.  BOY, have they taken off.  It’s a great way to get started shooting a shotgun the correct way by building good habits rather than having to relearn them later. Keep it Simple!

It baffles me how complicated people make this game. Why can’t it be simple like 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, same speed at the end. Had a guy yesterday that would call pull and as soon as he saw the target he would jump 30 yards out in front and pull the trigger.
