Relearning to slow down

Last weekend we went quail hunting at the 74 Ranch south of San Antonio.  This is always a fun hunt and we do it 4 times a year. The thing that I learned and probably have to relearn at the beginning of our year of hunting is to slow down and not shoot too far in front of the birds.  There were 4 of us hunting and since we only hunt 3 at a time, 1 person walked with us as the others hunted.  It is much safer that way a... Vicki’s accomplishment at 2014 Nationals

What a great time at the 26th NSCA National tournament.  At the Hall of Fame Banquet we found out that I was the only one that had been to all 26 years of tournaments, who knew.  We got there on the Saturday before and moved into our RV for the week.  Beverly Hillbillies have nothing on us as my car was packed high with sheets, blankets, towels etc. for our stay. Sunday we went dove hunting and it was a hunt not necess... Headed to Nationals after after clinics and teaching

We had a wonderful weekend clinic a week and a half ago and taught all week and are going to go to the NSCA National tournament to visit with good friends and of course meet new ones. Our last clinic was another good one with new people anxious to learn how to become better shooters and then become better people.  It is always fun to see students grow in their shooting. We are just getting back from 3 wonderful days with our daughter Andrea, son-in-law Tim and one of our granddaughters, Avery. Teaching in Oregon
