Cardinal Shooting Center - Our 1st Visit

We visited a new club out of Columbus, Ohio last weekend and found an oasis in the middle of nowhere.  This was our first time in and the facility is beautiful and huge.They have a long row of trap ranges that they host 3 BIG trap shoots a year.  They have RV hookups for miles and even 29 cabins to rent that come with a pool.  The sporting clays area consists of 2 courses-1 a little easier than the other but we found b... Baffin Bay

As soon as we got off the plane we had to drive to Baffin Bay with a stop off at our bay house to get all the gear and then drive down past Corpus Christie to Baffin Bay to fish with a student and his wife.   We had fished with them last month with Captain Sally and her husband Captain Black.  Baffin Bay is known for its trophy trout but with the weather this year being so strange any trout or red fish is good. We fish... Argentina 2014

We arrived in Cordoba, Argentina on Tuesday August 5 having left Houston on Monday August 4, at 12:30 AM, got through customs and then on to the lodge.That trip was another 2 hours but at the lodge Edwardo met us with champagne and goodies to snack on so it was 5 AM by the time we got to bed.  Needless to say we choose to forgo the early morning hunt but not the afternoon one.  This came after a wonderful lunch of beef... Teaching in South Dakota

Hunters Point Sporting Clays We finally got to Hunters Point Sporting Clays in Humbolt, South Dakota.  Don’t know where Humbolt, SD is, it is 16 miles west of Sioux Falls, SD.  Tony Bour the owner had been trying to get us to come up there for 2 years but it just never worked out so we squeezed it in this year to teach on Thursday, Friday, Saturday to return to Houston on Saturday night as we need to be somewhere else ...
