Whew what a great year of learning 2017 has been!  We have traveled a lot; we met so many great people this year and added 5 new clubs, so all is good.  Still recouping from Harvey, getting back to our field ever so slowly, but we are going to take a few days off and fish.   Thanksgiving has come and gone with family and a few days of fishing and relaxing. We are leaving to come home after being at Garland Mountain Sporting Clays near Canton, Ga.  WOW what a beautiful place and being November the trees had turned their fall colors and it was lovely.   This was our first trip to this club but won’t be the last as we have been asked to come back 2 times next year.  We had a great time; a little cold on the last day but it is November and we were in the mountains. ... Fun at Nationals

We had a fabulous time at Nationals this year.  It was so great to see everyone again.  We rented an RV and became Trailer Park Trash for a week; and, had a ball staying on campus and not having to fight the traffic. We shot 800 targets in a week, and I have to say, by Thursday morning, I was tired.  We don’t shoot that often and are not used to it, but, it was so good to shoot and realize why people love this spo... Pennsylvania to Houston to Connecticut....

On to LeHigh Valley Sporting Clays and another great 3 days of learning with a lot of new folks and several of our repeat offenders.  LeHigh is in an old limestone quarry and has a lot of different presentations.  They have 3 different courses, so a lot of diversification of targets.  And of course, there is always one or two on the course that someone just hates, so off we go.  The biggest Ah Ha was that studen...
