Bolivia – Pennsylvania – Phoenix!

Sorry to be so late with another blog, but things have been really busy here.

We went to Bolivia to a beautiful lodge and shot doves and pigeons for four days. Gil had gone last year when I was kid-sitting in Oregon and was so impressed that we went this year with a few of our students and friends.

The lodge was wonderful and had a pool, massage room, sauna, and hot tub, along with a magnificent bar area. Hunting was not that far away except for one day when it was longer. There was great food (not too heavy) and great staff. The owner lives there, so everything is always like home.

We will go again next year. If you want to come, let us know. You won’t be sorry.

After we got home from Bolivia, we were off to Pennsylvania to Seven Springs Resort to visit our friend Mike Mohr. Another beautiful spot nestled in the mountains with great targets on the three different courses. Mike has it going on there with corporate events almost every day.

The staff is wonderful and took great care of us. And the food at the sporting clays course is fabulous. There were a lot of “a-has” about how moving slow is actually better than moving fast and how making a plan and visualizing the movie makes it easier to repeat the hits.

Planning the movie is the ticket, as well as same speed at the end. Amazing results.

We went home to Fulshear, then on to the bay for some well-deserved time off and fishing.

Brian and I will be at Ben Avery this coming weekend September 14-15, so if you are around Phoenix come on by and say hello.
