Practicing with a Preload

Practice is where the repetition occurs that allows you to build habits.

Practice is the most powerful thing you have in your toolbox, but at the same time, it is the most wasted because of how people practice.

Everything you do in practice must be preceded by a preload of the movie of how the shot comes together. And when the preload and the shot are mirrors of each other, the brain learns three times faster.

Practicing without a preload leads to short-term memory, evaluating while performing, and nothing good. If you want to get better, practice with a preload and finish every shot with the muzzle going the same speed at the end.
