Accepting the variability swing to swing and shot to shot was a huge understanding for me as a shooter and as a coach!
Knowing that I can’t make the same perfect move, mount, and shot every time I call “pull” allows me to let my subconscious take care of setup, as well as when and how I complete the mount. This keeps it out of my visualization. It does not allow it to clutter it up with needless things.
My visual process is the last 10-12 percent of the shot, and it is very detailed concerning how the shot comes together!
In our research, we have discovered that consistently applying the correct lead is more a result of how the shot comes together. It’s not something that you pre-program.
