Crossing Bird Confusion

If the crossing point is confusing visually, then accept the confusion. And give yourself a picture of what you want to happen after the confusion.

It has to be a picture. You can’t resist the confusion or worry about the confusion or try to see one of the birds through the confusion. You simply accept the fact that it’s going to be confusing.

“But after the confusion, I want to shoot the bird on the right first. I’m gonna be ready, I’m gonna call for the birds, my gun’s gonna be up, and after the confusion, the bird on the right’s gonna die, then I’m going to shoot the straight away.”

The next time you have confusion in crossing birds, just play with it. Accept it, but you’ve got to give your brain a picture command of what you want it to see and do after the confusion. When you do that, the confusion melts away.

It’s one of the really amazing things that we’ve stumbled on. So often the confusion is where you want to break the first bird. If you can access it, give yourself a picture command, give your brain a picture command – high birds, right bird, fat bird, skinny bird, whatever. You can give it a picture command after the confusion. You’ll be shocked at how the confusion will go away.
