A Hundred Percent Effort in Practice

The thing that confuses shooters is that they don’t practice with the required intensity. They’re out there going through the motions, having fun. And then when they go to a tournament they try, and their brain doesn’t recognize them. They’re not relaxed, or happy-go-lucky, they’re not having fun. They’re trying.

What you have to do in practice is build the habit of 100 percent, 100 percent of the time – and this includes going to the club. When you get out, you’re all business. You have to build that into your practice, to always practice with 110 percent committed goals to make every shot stable.
