Training Your Brain with the Kill Shot Reviews

We’re just now leaving the Safari Convention. We had two great seminars and the completion of a new video by Mitch of clay kill shots that are about 10 minutes long. It will be up on the Knowledge Vault next week, as we have a slight modification to do to it.
Understanding that it’s the brain that we must train to create the shot, it occurred to us that if we could show the brain kill shots over and over and over that it would be easier to preload the shot and easier for the brain to give us what we wanted.
We feel that doing that for clays as well as birds would go a long way to improving the output from the brain while shooting. This came from Robert Ramirez of Texas Parks and Wildlife after our training seminar where he was watching the duck kill shot over and over.
After doing the three-bullet drill and the flashlight drill, he hunted with a single-barrel H&R 12-gauge on a duck hunt. The guide laughed at him when he said he only needed six shots. On the first flock of ducks, he said it was just like the left-to-right shot we showed so many times in the training. As he mounted the gun, it was as if he had already been there and his brain just took over and let the birds line up as the gun speed adjusted to the bird’s speed. He killed two in one shot. At the end of the hunt, he killed six birds with five shots.
The guide wasn’t laughing anymore….
So we will be doing some series of kill shots on clays as well as birds and get them up in the KV. We will also make them available as downloads from the free website for a fee or on a CD like a DVD. We do think we’re on to something here, and time will tell. If any of you would like to participate in a study and keep records of how many times you have watched it and record your experiences when you go shoot, let us know.

We recorded a 100-yard crosser on the ShotKam last Monday. But with the grey cloudy skies, it was grainy and you could not see the gun movement as well as with a blue sky with white clouds in the background. So we will be doing that again. Also, we will be doing a crosser at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, and 100 yards at the same breakpoint and putting that up on the KV soon… as soon as the weather permits. This is exciting and we can’t wait to share this with all of you.
