Struggles Are Good
A student of ours once came to me and said, “Man, I’m really having a problem on the first two stations.”
“Well, that’s a good thing,” I said.
“What? That’s a good thing?”
I said, “That means once we get that solved, they’d better look out, huh?”
“I hadn’t thought about it that way,” he said.
“That’s a great thing. Because that means you’ve isolated the one thing that we’ve got to work on, and once we get that fixed, look out.”
But I will guarantee you that 95 percent of the people out there that if they had the “last bird-itis” on a stand, they’re not going to look at it that way. They’re going to look at it as a life sentence and an affliction.
