Greeting Failure
The shooters who have the most filler in their brain are always the ones who learn the new concepts the quickest. They are able to shift the paradigms in their brains and fire the circuits in different patterns and have the best attitude about understanding that failure leads to success.
They also have the least amount of fear. Or said another way, they are the most confident of the group, which eventually leads to competence and the beginners mind.
This is another threshold concept that our schools don’t teach today. It can be the biggest outcome of dancing with a shotgun on clays or wingshooting.
Learn the threshold concept that failure is not only sought but something that should be greeted. It is essential for learning at any level. This is a life lesson that will serve anyone well throughout their lives and all the lives they touch.
