Keep the barrel in the periphery!  The barrel is always fuzzy - never in focus - as it has a place on the edge of your vision. A common problem I see all the time is the gun starts in the edge of vision, but as the target is coming to the gun, the vision shifts from 95 percent on the gun and 5 percent on target to more like 70 percent target and 30 percent gun.
